And Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the children of Israel cried unto the Lord.
And Israel was brought very low because of Midian; and the children of Israel cried unto Jehovah.
So Israel was greatly impoverished because of the Midianites, and the Israelites cried out to the Lord [for help].

Isra’el became very discouraged because of Midyan, and the people of Isra’el cried out to Adonai.
The Midianites took almost everything that belonged to the Israelites, and the Israelites begged the Lord for help.
And Israel was greatly impoverished because of Midian. And the children of Israel cried to Jehovah.
And Israel was humbled exceedingly in the sight of Madian.
The Israelites became very poor because of the Midianites. So the Israelites cried to the Lord for help.
Because of the Midianites, the Israelites became poor and weak. So they called out to the Lord for help.
So Israel was laid low because of Midian, and the people of Israel cried out to the Lord.
And Israel was brought very low because of Midian. And the people of Israel cried out for help to the Lord.

Israel ·became very poor [or was weakened; L was brought low] because of the Midianites, so they cried out to the Lord.
So was Israel exceedingly impoverished by the Midianites: therefore the children of Israel cried unto the Lord.

So Israel was reduced to abject poverty because of the Midianites. Then at last the people of Israel began to cry out to the Lord for help.
Yet again the People of Israel went back to doing evil in God’s sight. God put them under the domination of Midian for seven years. Midian overpowered Israel. Because of Midian, the People of Israel made for themselves hideouts in the mountains—caves and forts. When Israel planted its crops, Midian and Amalek, the easterners, would invade them, camp in their fields, and destroy their crops all the way down to Gaza. They left nothing for them to live on, neither sheep nor ox nor donkey. Bringing their cattle and tents, they came in and took over, like an invasion of locusts. And their camels—past counting! They marched in and devastated the country. The People of Israel, reduced to grinding poverty by Midian, cried out to God for help.

So the Israelites became very poor because of Midian and cried out to Yahweh for help.

The Midianites oppressed Israel so terribly that the Israelites cried out to the Lord.

So Israel was brought very low because of Midian, and Bnei-Yisrael cried out to Adonai.
So the people of Israel were impoverished because of the Midianites, and they cried out to the Eternal One for help.
Israel was brought very low because of Midian; and the children of Israel cried to Yahweh.
And Israel was made low greatly in the sight of Midian (And Israel was brought greatly low before the Midianites). And Israel cried to the Lord,
And Israel is very weak from the presence of Midian, and the sons of Israel cry unto Jehovah.
